Forum moderation

Posts on forums should be respectful and on topic. NAATI staff will moderate discussion forums and reserves the right to delete posts if it is appropriate to do so. For example, NAATI will delete any post that:

  • could potentially harm individuals or NAATI's reputation
  • contains disrespectful or derogatory remarks about any person or entity
  • contains advice or content that is believed to be damaging, unhelpful or distressing to others
  • contains swearing or offensive language, is nonsensical and/or off topic
  • promotes personal beliefs in a way that is disrespectful of the choices of others
  • is racist, sexist, homophobic, sexually explicit or suggestive, abusive or otherwise discriminatory or objectionable 
  • impersonates other users
  • is a scam or spam 
  • shares private or confidential information without consent 
  • promotes personal products or services

Exclusion

In the event a learner regularly behaves in a way that is against NAATI's values and/or repeatedly posts messages that are unacceptable in nature, NAATI reserves the right to exclude them from a course or from its learning platform.

Reporting an issue

NAATI Learn courses and their discussion forums are not monitored in real-time. Any issue with the platform or a post in a discussion forum should be reported to NAATI at learn@naati.com.au. Please indicate "Module name - issue reporting" in the subject line so NAATI can attend to it as a matter of urgency.
